My name is McKenzie Wallace and I am currently a 9th grade language arts teacher at West Branch High School where I am also the Lady Warrior soccer coach, assistant track & field coach, and newspaper advisor. I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Hawaii, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. While at UH Manoa, I competed for the Rainbow Wahine cross country and track team as a middle distance runner.
I am currently working towards my master’s degree through Michigan State University’s Masters of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) Program. Through this program I hope to become an active participant in professional development with regards to technology integration in the classroom setting, build a personal learning network that stretches internationally, and contribute positively to educational reform.
Below is my video PQ CQ Reflection from my master’s program, which is about Passion Quotient and Curiosity Quotient. This video also highlights some of the amazing people and mindsets I came across on my educational journey in Ireland.
